Powdercoating
At Garden City Powercoating and Sandblasting, we specialise in powercoating small jobs to larger pieces of equipment. Powercoating differs from conventional liquid, as it is a free-flowing, dry powder that doesn't require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. Powercoating is much tougher and more durable than conventional paint as it is applied electrostatically, then cured under heating to form a hard, smooth finish "skin".
The most common goods to be powdercoated are:
- Metals
- Whiteware
- Aluminium extrusions
- Automobile and bicycle parts
We are capable of powdercoating very small jobs to much larger pieces of equipment with our largest powder oven measuring 3m x 3m x 8.3m. If you're not sure what's the best paint option for your job, get in touch with us and we'll provide our expect advice!
